Silver Lake in Rehoboth, DE presents an endless variety of inspiration for paintings. The seasons, the wildlife, the water and landscape all of which is less than a quarter mile from from the Atlantic Ocean. This painting was inspired on a foggy spring morning where the large beachfront homes are barely visible across Silver Lake as the sea oats in the foreground are vivid in their contrast.
